Migration Patterns: Mapping Our Journey

Migration Patterns: Mapping Our Journey is a social practice project co-created by participants housed in the Human Solutions Family Center and Rachel O'Rourke, a social action artist. With funding made possible by the Regional Arts and Culture Council, Rachel collaborated with families for ten months in 2017 to creatively explore how to change the dominant discourse surrounding the issue of homelessness.
 

As a contributing artist, Eleanor Gorman photographically documented the project and Rachel's interaction with the residents of the shelter.
