"I make pictures to challenge, calm, excite and satisfy my mind and heart.  I share my work in hopes of leaving some permanent, telling mark on the world ... that I was here."  - Lori Vrba, Artist, Photographer
"My Mother's Closet"

From the day we are born every experience, everyone and everything that touches our lives becomes the foundation of our self-expression. Photographic images have the power to preserve the essence of our lives, to stop time and help us to remember moments that may otherwise be forgotten.

There is a thread of family as subject that is woven through my personal work.  I enjoy capturing unexpected scenes of life. I attempt to see and capture life's ordinary moments that take on a deeper meaning with time.
